Take 5 Oil Change

When I arrived they handed me a nice bottle of water which was something I’ve never encountered while getting my car serviced before at other places. Everyone who was working was super kind and asked me how my day was going and overall made me feel very welcome. Next thing I new my oil was changed and I was good to go! Excellent service!!

The team was very friendly and outgoing. I have what is considered a high mileage car and I wanted to get an Economy oil change to save money as I always have. I had the check engine light on. They gave me proper education as to why the premium high mileage was pricier but the amazing benefits that came with it. They were right and my check engine light came off as soon as it had the proper oil change. Thank you guys! I recommend them

DO NOT GO HERE! I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE! The manager at this location needs to be fired. I came in with a fully functioning vehicle for an oil change and left with a flat tire due to this mans negligence. I was told halfway through the oil service - a minute after filling up the air in the tires that I quote "had a broken valve stem" however if my valve stem was broken before I got there, I wouldn't have been able to drive to the Take 5 to begin with on account of how valve stems function and the inability for air to be contained if one is compromised. The moment I pulled out onto Dale Mabry (20 ft away from the Take 5) my tire pressure light came on- due to a hectic work schedule I needed to get home immediately and did not have the time to turn around. I went straight home and discovered once home I had a flat on the very tire I was told I had a spontaneous "broken valve stem on". This man knew he broke it, pretended he didn't and lied to my face, then allowed me to drive away on a tire he KNEW was compromised due to his negligence. I could've had my daughter in the car. What then? Upon calling customer service this morning to get it tended to, who should I get on the phone but the very man who scorned me to begin with. I was IMMEDIATELY met with antipathy and frustration before the interaction even began (probably from his recollection of who I was and what happened)- I was immediately placated to like I didn't understand how a valve stem works, or how easy it is to break it if you wiggle the air compressor at all once connected during the filling process. It's a thin pole of metal that can easily be snapped if he was working too quickly or carelessly which clearly he was because the MOMENT I drove away the tire pressure light came on and 10 min later the tire was flat - he denied all responsibility and yelled that it couldn't have possibly be his fault then promptly hung up on me when I met him with the same energy. As I said- I wouldn't have been able to get to the Take 5 to begin with if the valve stem were broken before I got there. A broken valve stem will hold NO AIR AT ALL PERIOD. My car was fully functioning when I took it there and I am now unable to drive it due to this man's inability to speak up like an adult and admit when he messed up.

I just pulled into one of your locations at Hudson Lane and North delmarie highway in Tampa Florida and we refuse service by the attendant they come out and said we can't take any more cars other than these right here so you'll have to come back tomorrow after I sat out there and waited in line for 15 minutes I will never spend another dime in the place

Paid for a full synthetic oil change (about $82 after using a coupon). A full synthetic oil change should last anywhere from 5k-7k miles, and apparently their system only prints stickers that go 3k miles over your current mileage. Needing an oil change again. Didn’t get what I paid for. Called customer service and they confirmed that it was strange and had me leave a message with the store, to which I couldn’t so they had to pass along to the manager. Never received a call or voicemail from them. Shady business and poor customer service as a brand. Surprising the brand is even a partner of the Rays.

They did a bad oil change my oil line popped. Had to pay to have it towed to them for them to tell me they can't figure out what happened & they would pay for tow to a mechanic & if the mechanic attributed the issue to them they would reimburse repairs. Mechanic sends photos showing it was a bad seal on the filter & other photo documentation. Now they have me in limbo waiting on confirmation if they will reimburse for repairs.
